It was a windy mid-October evening. I and my friends decided to go to Mount Royal to experience our first fall foliage in Montreal and also in Canada.
We headed to Lac aux Castors by bus. We were busy taking therefore we forgot to get off at the right bus stop. As a result we had to walk up hill to the lake. The weather was cold and windy but the sky was cloudless blue and the sun was still shining on the trees on the other side of the street.
We arrived the lake finally. The fall foliage was at its peak in late fall. There were people who were taking pictures, walking, sightseeing or hanging around.

Upon finishing touring around the lake, we came across an area where there were maple trees turning bright yellow. We took turns to take picture as everyone wants a best shot.
It got colder when the sun set and people were also heading to the parking lot and our feet were almost frozen. A day out ended with laughter and contentment we shared.
